Welcome Dirtbags!

The Dirtbag Dugout is a blog that will follow the 2012 CSULB men's baseball team.  The objective of the blog is to keep fans informed of upcoming games and matchups, provide scores and highlights of games played in 2012, and to also obtain insightful interviews and analysis from players and coaches throughout the year.  Readers who love collegiate baseball and follow Big West atheletics will be the target audience who read this blog, but I welcome anyone who enjoys the sport of baseball and are fans of the Dirtbags to come along throughout the 2012 season.  A new entry will be posted at least once every week, and each post will highlight a game or series played during that week.  This blog will also keep readers informed of upcoming games and matchups for the following week, and will also keep readers informed of player injuries, team standings, lineup or position changes as well.  The intention of The Dirtbag Dugout is to keep the posts interesting by incorporting interviews from players and coaches and to also capture photos of in game action, in case you missed it.  If you're wondering what to expect from the Dirtbags this season check out their season preview here.
